A popular saying says: “Content counts”. But listening to the fourth in the series work by Australian Ben Craven, Last Chance To Hear, the above proverb, may be completed as follows: “Content counts, let alone when the logo of the name of the artist, VRONTOFONAZEI Roger Dean!” That’s right! And this time, his daughter, Freyja Dean, takes honest and unambiguous prog handling of the cover.
With dynamism and focus to the complexity of robust, symphonic-and not only- measures, the title track of the album, Last Chance To Hear Part 1, sets the start in this sarantalepto, evolutionary journey rightly defines the progressive composition of the orchestration of Ben Craven. With special love in their albums that imparted a certain theme from the creator, as it indicates not simply executing them, but especially, the identity and the “concern” of their founder, the pieces Critical Mass Part 1,2, Spy In the Sky Part 1,2,3 and Last Chance to Hear Part 1,2, won a special place in the overall impression left me the album. Keys melodic and harmonic, with full consistency between them and studied with master guide, the crossover element.
With psychedelia to flow like a torrent from the guitar with notes “tweaked” and clearly informed, one to one prog-than-friend / h will surely appreciate and acknowledge the ingenuity of Ben Craven and, if it has not already do, maybe it’s time to deepen in previous works. Orchistrikotita and lyricism, interwoven together in Last Chance To Hear.
A trial will convince you …

Έχοντας ιδιαίτερη αγάπη στα albums που τους προσδίδεται μια κάποια θεματολογία απ’ τον δημιουργό τους, καθώς αυτό δηλώνει όχι απλά την διεκπεραίωσή τους αλλά κυρίως, την ταυτότητα και την “ανησυχία” του θεμελιωτή τους, τα κομμάτια Critical Mass Part 1,2, Spy In The Sky Part 1,2,3 και Last Chance To Hear Part 1,2, κέρδισαν ιδιαίτερη θέση στην όλη εντύπωση που μου άφησε το album.
Ορχηστρικότητα και λυρισμός, συνυφαίνονται ταυτόχρονα στο Last Chance To Hear.
